The co-founders originally met in pursuit of owning
a motorcycle, which eventually became reality.
Jimmy and Geo met through the occasional
Thursdays thru   rambling pages which then
referred to as the bible (cylcetrader).  Bonded by
their early rides dirt biking, paved the way their need
to expand the adrenaline addiction on the streets.
Jing, a close friend to Jimmy had his own visions of
riding, already a veteran of street biking in the early
90’s pioneered his love for cruising with his Orange
flame chopper.
HISTORY
The journey began before the excursions on the road.  A common similarity brought by a
few the idealism of riding without any POLITICAL attachments, without the PREJUDICE
and JUDGEMENTAL values on differences of our RACE, COLOR, CREED and BIKES. To
promote the very meaning of riding free together, thus was conceived The Road Pirates
Motorcycle Club.
Boredom fueled the co-founders to meet and ideat
weekend riding sessions, which were with two sport
bikes and one chopper, still considered these days
unlawful to the dominant Harley community
combination. It was at this time they developed the
common grounds and goals for the love of riding
which bonded these three commoners and two
others. Jojo also an ex co-worker  of Jimmy shared
the same interests and purchased himself a sports
bike to which he shares the roads with fellow
co-worker and rider Julius.

Affiliated with the Juan dela Cruisers, the Road Pirates did not make their debute till their
major bike run at the San Francisco Veterans Parade. The name Road Pirates was an
inspiration by Geo based off the different types of motorcycles the group individually
owned, just as legendary pirates of the seas were not Hollywood depicted characters,
but most men and women with the same goals to seize and capture goods by thievery
from other ships that sailed the seas, in our case we are not thieves but only pirating the
uncharted back roads that are merely appreciated by the cityscapers, thus essentially
becoming the very tool and playground. The word Pirates has a whole complete letter
per letter meaning which stands for Pacific. Island. Riders. Always. Together. Every.
Saturday or Sunday, which in this case is inevitable.
The boys first run was at the annual Laguna beach Mooning and what an experience it
was! This consistant meet gave birth to the weekly Friday bike nights, which were the
cause of coincidental gatherings by Jimmey, Jing, Geo, Jojo, and Julius. This led to the
wide spread via internet of the Juan dela Cruiser website, as a weekly social motorcycle
gathering.  Baptized by Kapitan as the Kanto (Street Corner) boys, was the birth of new
beginnings.  El Kapitan (Pete) with his visions, were the enhancements needed thru his
riding philosophy and experiences along with their camaraderie of their members,
prepared us, Kanto Boys mentally and physically, which evolved the Kanto Boys into
the properly broken in Road Pirate riders. The Juan dela Cruisers constant riding
schedules, laid the ways through the back roads of the scenic and winding roads of the
beautiful southern California highways, that resembled nothing but the breath of nature
and the euphoric feeling of freedom only tamed by the sunlit roads.
